Sea Harvest Fish Market & Restaurant in Moss Landing

The place is simple and located just next to the parking garage. We came here around 11:30 and got seated right away. Within 30 min there is no empty seat left! We had salmon and seafood kabob. The grilled fish are well done! Very delicious.

Fish-and-chips that I've eaten all my life were all fake. Here's the real deal. Chowder was excellent and the seafood pasta was amazing.

Delicious seafood. I had the garlic butter tilapia and it was yummy. The hostess was a little sassy, but other than that I would rate this establishment high.

Great food with pretty large portions, which is great when it comes to seafood. The clam chowder is tasty, but could use a bit of salt. As for the Dungeness Crab sandwich, it was stupendous! The half shell oysters were huge and had a nice brine. The only issues is that the seating is small, so the wait is long, but worth it. Addition: It's actually a fish market, so you can get all sorts of fresh fish there as well!

The grilled fish was fine but the clam chowder was too salty. Generally the food here is over treated, which means the cooking did not bring out the subtle taste of seafood. The staff is welcoming and helpful though. Still I think it is not worth the hype.

Fresh seafood with no frills service and decoration help keep prices affordable. This place is also family friendly.

Long wait. When we came we were told it’s approx 45min wait so we joined the waitlist and walked around to the beach area nearby and spent some time there. After a while we came back and checked with the host and she said it’s gonna be another 45min (Hmmm...) We waited for 1.5 hours in total. It only has roughly 10 tables so I guess it can easily get crazy busy in holidays when people are traveling to Monterey. Anyways, finally in around 3pm we got our lunch here. The food was nice and fresh. It’s definitely above average but it’s not like amazingly good.

Food is super tasty! Everything we ordered was great, especially the chowder, the crab cakes, and the fish n’ chip’s fish. It’s walking distance from the aquarium and it’s a low key seafood shop and half restaurant. Many of their customers come here and just buy their fresh fish.Only downside is that their chowder in a bread bowl is $12 vs. a large bowl of chowder is $6. But it’s very delicious, so it’s worth giving it a try if you’re visiting the area!

This was our first time in Monterey, and we loved the seafood here. We got the seafood pasta and the combination & chips. They were delicious. The seafood pasta had scallops, salmon, and prawns, and everything was cooked perfectly. It was so tasty. The combination & chips were also perfectly cooked, not dripping with oil, and the chips were so crunchy. They definitely do seafood properly here. We will be coming back the next time we're around.

We were visiting the area and decided to stop in after we had driven by a couple of days. The place was great. The fresh fish, traditional fish fry, and soup were all great. Highly recommend the traditional fry items (calamari was probably the favorite, even over the halibut). The clam chowder is traditional east coast style and is rich, overflowing with clams. They know their way around seafood and it shows. Go visit and try some of everything.

A great place for freshly caught fish. You can pick any of the ones in display. Very fast service. The clam chowder was amazing! Prices are also very reasonable. Would definitely come back.

Very friendly workers on Sunday! They spoke Spanish a plus for my husband. Good selection.

I got scallops in garlic and butter over a caesar salad. It was rather busy but we got great service!! The waiters were very friendly & ready to fill your tea & water right away!!! Highly recommend this restaurant!! I'll be going back!!

Great food and atmosphere. Simple dining area with room for larger families. Great staff and we love the fried clams!!! We come here whenever we're on vacation.

Short walk from the aquarium. Nice service and fresh! Steam crabs are not on the menu, ask! They are good.
